Sloveniana webzine new design

6 June 2007 The webzine has reappeared in the format of eight categories, from the previous rolling series of articles. It is highly-styled with graphics, images, layout, and expanded navigation structure for faster accessibility. Moreover each of the articles of; Hrastovlje, Terra Cognita, Slovenian Impressionism, Jože Plečnik, and Primož Trubar, has its own slideshow photo gallery, adding another dimension to the article.

The new main page of Sloveniana is an overall view of categories with recent articles. Within each category there is a navigation path to all the articles. Thirteen new articles are presented. Several are about the role of composer Iacobus Gallus Carniolus, and reformer Primož Trubar. Other articles offer insight into Slovenian Impressionism, and each of the four major artists of the movement. The article on Slovenian Lands in the sixteenth century provides a fascinating glimpse into a period of dramatic upheavals and events in Slovenia and through Europe. The Pivka Valley is different to other parts of the Kras region, and has a slideshow photo gallery of the landscape of the region.
