Jože Prezelj first heard of the didgeridoo, the sonorous music instrument of the Australian Aboriginals, at a conference in Peru. He met a German who taught him to play in four months and began to play seriously when he lost his voice.- He met Aborigianal players for the first time in Ljubljana in 2003. He attends didgeridoo concerts in Switzerland, Austria and USA. Jože Prezelj teaches playing and making didgeridoos. In Slovenia he often appears at the concerts, openings and TV shows.
