Student exchange initiated ISSV- Študentska izmenjava 2002-2003First Slovenian Australian secondary school exchange program. Scholarship program was initiated for students of Slovenian language by Aleksandra Ceferin of ISSV in 2002, funded by Office for Slovenes Abroad, Government of the Republic of Slovenia (Urad za Slovence po svetu) and Vipava and Šentvid Classical Gymnasium Schools in Slovenia. Andrew Bratina was first Slovenian VCE student (matura) who attended Vipava Gymnasium in south Slovenia in 2002 on scholarship.
