Magic hillside garden of Miha Toman

Prof. Dr. Mihael Toman lives in his family home in the village of Kamna Gorica, in north - western Slovenia. The 17th century heritage house has been beautifully renovated, where Mihael follows a great interest in traditional and period buildings. But his particular love and occupation is his hillside garden, built over several years and continues to be a chief hobby and after work-hours occupation. It has been presented on Slovenian national television and in a publication on beautiful gardens of Slovenia. The place is magic, every plant and tree in it a reflection of love for all plant life.

Spring 2010
The full beauty of the hillside garden is revealed in Spring, when its construction of pathways, stairways and terraces is revealed, while the first blossoms begin to fill the spaces with their colours and shapes. This is the early spring, and garden is already full of promise of blossoming and fruiting to come as gradually spring turns into summer and autumn.
